History
Jaro Corp was established by President/CEO Jim Odoardi in June 1984. Originally located in Peabody Massachusetts, Jaro Corp occupied approximately 1,000 square feet and only offered one dielectric coating. Shortly thereafter, Jaro Corp expanded its services to include the application of conductive coatings, and in the late 1980’s began applying conformal coatings. Over the course of the following two decades, to meet the evolving industry demand, Jaro Corp’s primary focus shifted to conformal coatings. Currently 85% of our business is derived from the application of conformal coatings.
Unlike many companies who offer an array of services, without specializing in any, Jaro Corp has chosen to focus solely on its core technology: the application of functional coatings. In August 2007, Jaro Corp took another step towards becoming the industry leader and opened its 29,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Ipswich Massachusetts. This facility was designed specifically for coatings applications and will help us meet the increasing demand and requirements of our customers, while providing us with the space needed to support our continued growth.
