Jaro Corp. (Ipswich, MA) is seeking an individual to fill a full-time Compliance/Quality Engineer position.
The Compliance/Quality Engineer will assist the Director of Technical Operations with all AS9100 compliance tasks, the ongoing maintenance of internal and external quality documents, and customer management as it relates to quality issues.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
AS9100 compliance administration, quality document generation & maintenance, quarterly management review meeting preparation and execution, metrics tracking, internal auditing, corporate quality training, and coordination of 3rd party annual audits. Candidate will be the primary liaison for all customer-related quality issues, including technical pedagogy, corrective action responses, and resolution/implementation of remedial actions. Duties also include assisting with quality related supplier documents, site audits and supporting the sales team with quality related issues.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Associates degree in a technical discipline
Five plus (5+) years’ experience in a quality control/assurance position
Working knowledge of, and experience with, AS9100 aerospace quality standard (preferably revision D)
Required Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
Excellent organizational skills
Adept at interpreting mechanical drawings & specifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Meet ITAR residency requirements
Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
